Ow Tai Zhi is the brain behind AutoWealth's algorithms and investment methodologies. He is responsible for the monitoring, rebalancing and investment decisions on our clients' portfolios.

Prior to founding AutoWealth, Tai Zhi spent over ten years in investment research, investment strategy and investment management working for Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, hedge fund and family fund amongst others.

In his previous appointment, Tai Zhi's investment skills & acumen in the Japanese markets brought in US$17 million of returns on a total return portfolio.

Tai Zhi is appointed to the SAFRA Investment Committee, advising the investment of more than S$100 million of assets.

Tai Zhi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the National University of Singapore.

Chief Operation Officer

Noel Lee engineered AutoWealth's investment platform & business processes. He is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company.

Prior to cofounding AutoWealth, Noel was a management consultant at Aon plc, where he managed consulting projects and advised clients on critical management issues, such as productivity, performance management, and corporate governance. He has advised some of the largest and most successful companies across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, such as Keppel Corp, Singapore Power, CapitaLand, Bumi Armada and Bank Danamon.

Noel also worked at Woodsford Capital, a hedge fund, where he assisted the investment managers with the day-to-day operation of the funds.

Noel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours, Dean's List: 2 Semesters), specialising in Finance & Operations from the National University of Singapore.

Head of Technology

Tan Ming Zhen is the Head of Technology of AutoWealth. He engineered the technological, data analytical and machine learning aspects of AutoWealth's investment platform and business processes. He is responsible for the development of AutoWealth's technological platform and its day-to-day maintenance.

Prior to joining AutoWealth, Ming Zhen was a researcher from the NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering. He has extensive experience with mathematical modelling and machine learning techniques for large datasets. Some of his research interests include wavelets, reproducing kernel methods, graph techniques, classification algorithms, regression models, time-series analysis and statistics. His work has since been published in multiple world renowed peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Ming Zhen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering, First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Economics, First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore. He is also completing his PhD, specialising in development and implementation of statistical/mathematical models using pattern recognition, machine learning and data analysis.

Head of Wealth Advisory

Michael is the Head of Wealth Advisory of AutoWealth. He is responsible for client engagement and successful onboarding.

Prior to joining AutoWealth, Michael built his professional experience for 14 years in some of the largest financial institutions in the region, such as CIMB & Phillip Securities, leading teams of seasoned financial advisers.

Michael began his career as an engineer at Hitachi Nippon Steel and advanced his career into the information technology industry as a Java Consultant, building enterprise systems for the Singapore Government as well as the private sector.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Aje Saigal

Aje is the founder and CIO of Nuvest Capital, a fund founded with the backing of the sovereign wealth fund. Nuvest Capital uses innovative portfolio techniques and deep market experience to build a portfolio of multiple return sources that delivers consistent risk-adjusted returns at low cost.

Before founding Nuvest Capital, Aje spent his entire career of over 30 years at the GIC, during which he held senior leadership positions, including CIO, Global Equities and Member, GIC Group Executive Committee.

Aje is a board member of Unigestion (Asia), and advisory board member of the Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics (Singapore Management University) and the Salvation Army. He sits on the investment committee of the Singapore Indian Development Association (chairman) and Wah Hin, a Singapore-based family office.

Wong Sang Wuoh

Sang Wuoh is the Associate Director of National University of Singapore. He is one of the pioneers in the Singapore startup incubator scene.

Sang Wuoh has been advising startups incubating at NUS Enterprise for the last 14 years. Some of the successful startups under his advice during his extensive career include Zopim, which was acquired by Zendesk and will be powering the Facebook Messenger's Business app.

Sang Wuoh has played a key role in promoting the startup spirit in NUS and in the development of many successful startups.

Prior to cofounding AutoWealth, Tai Zhi founded SkyTowers Capital Pte Ltd, and developed its high performing flagship Global Asset System. The system registered an annualised returns of 27.6% since inception, significantly outperforming the benchmark MSCI World Index and MSCI Singapore Index, as well as mutual funds with similar investment mandate over the same period.
